Not every kid enjoys bath time. Now, though, there’s a TikTok hack going viral that might just make them excited for it.
TikTok content creator @MotherCould posts kids’ activities and DIY ideas to her account, and this DIY bath paint is a simple way to get your kids ready for bath time.
In the video, she fills a muffin tin with shaving cream, then she adds soap (shower gel or dish soap work). The key, though, is the drop of food coloring she places in each tin. Once it’s added, she stirs the mixture to create colorful blobs of “paint.”
Next, she adds a few paintbrushes and places the tin of paints into the shower with her kids who quickly coat the walls in color. At the end of the video, all the kids have to do is use the showerhead to rinse the shaving cream-based paint away with ease.

The bath paint isn’t her only clever trick for encouraging kids to be creative. She has also made DIY chalk paint. Unlike sidewalk chalk, @MotherCould ‘s version is applied to surfaces using paintbrushes, but then, it drives down to a chalk texture. Just like the bath paint, it rinses right off with water.
