Looking for an activity to do over the holidays? LEGO’s upcoming launch will keep you entertained through the cold weather of winter.
LEGO is launching a Titanic recreation on Nov. 8, and it’s one of the largest pieces the company has ever launched. At 9,090 pieces, the LEGO Titanic is a detailed representation of the original ship and features two splits within the ship so it can be separated to showcase the detailed interiors which depict the dining space. boiler room, and grand staircase.
There are also fun moving parts included. You can rotate the propellers and see the pistons in the boiler room move, raise the anchor, and adjust the tension line between masts. The set will also come with a unique plaque displaying the ship’s name.

According to Mike Psiaki, design master at the LEGO Group, the blueprints of the original ship were used to construct the model.
“Designing the LEGO Titanic with such a focus on immense detail and scale, but also accuracy, has allowed us to create one of the most challenging building experiences to date,” said Psiaki. “We know brick builders and ship enthusiasts of all ages will love building the set and displaying it in their homes.”
Unfortunately, pre-orders for the ship have sold out, but when it launches on Nov. 8, you will be able to place a backorder. There is still a way to get your hands on the famous ship.
If you don’t want to wait until a backorder is filled, though, you can always try a LEGO advent calendar.
