When you think of lasagna, your brain likely goes to cheese, sauce, and delicious spices. Turns out, though, that there’s a dessert version of the famous pasta dish that looks delicious and easy to make.

All Recipes community member Frauline developed a recipe for ice cream lasagna, and the website was kind enough to create it for its TikTok account. Based on the video, it’s one of the easiest (and most delicious looking) desserts you can make.

For the chocolate peanut butter-based dessert, you’ll start by filling the bottom of a pan with a layer of ice cream sandwiches. Then, you’ll microwave a jar of crunchy peanut butter (so it’s easily spreadable) and add it over top of the sandwiches. In a bowl, combine chocolate pudding mix and Cool Whip then plop it on top as well. Next, chop up several mini Reese’s Cups and sprinkle them over the last layer before adding a caramel and chocolate drizzle.

Bake regular lasagna or freeze dessert lasagna in this pan.

Once this layer is done, you’ll add another one with more ice cream sandwiches, peanut butter, and plain (no pudding mix included) Cool Whip. Sprinkle more Reese’s on top and freeze overnight. Cut into it, and you’ve got a delicious dessert.

While sure, the weather is getting chillier, there’s never a bad time for ice cream, and it’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser this holiday season. Plus, for those with peanut allergies, you can easily sub out the peanut butter for another nut butter or Nutella, and replace the Reese’s with Hershey bars. Basically, you can customize this dessert however you want.
