Make The Cheesecake Factory’s Brussels Sprouts for Thanksgiving

Cooked brussels sprouts are on a plate.
The Cheesecake Factory

Been on the hunt for the perfect Thanksgiving side dish? The Cheesecake Factory might have just come through with the perfect recipe to serve alongside your turkey.

The Cheesecake Factory’s brussels sprouts recipe has been added to the restaurant’s online cookbook, and they sound delicious. Plus, according to the recipe, they’re ultra-simple to make.

To add the vegetable to your Thanksgiving table, you’ll need brussels sprouts (duh), coarse salt, bacon, and maple butter that you can find in fine food stores (like this one from Amazon) or a recipe for a glaze like this one from O Magazine.

Pure Vermont Maple Cream

Get salty sweet brussels sprouts with this maple butter.

You’ll remove some of the leaves from the sprouts and set them aside before cutting the vegetable into quarters. Fry a piece of bacon to create grease, and then fry the sprouts in it until crispy. Next, add in your saved leaves and lightly fry them as well adding a bit of salt when done. Then, you’ll take your cooked sprouts and add them to a bowl with the chopped piece of bacon as well as some of the maple butter. Mix it together and plate, finishing the dish by placing the leaves over top.

For more details, you can find the full recipe on the Cheesecake Factory website, and if you want another fun Thanksgiving side dish, Disney’s mac and cheese might be work considering.
