While Starbucks holiday cups have already made their debut, there’s another exciting launch coming fans’ way.
Today, Nov. 18, is red cup day which means you can get a free, reusable holiday cup from the coffee purveyor if you order a fall or holiday handcrafted beverage.
You can head into your local store (if open), its drive-thru, place an order via the app, or have it delivered via Uber Eats. All of those ways will let you take advantage of the freebie. Remember, though, that you need to order a holiday or fall specialty beverage (think Pumpkin Spice Latte, Peppermint Mocha, or White Chocolate Mocha) to qualify. if you do that, though, you’ll snag a free, reusable mug to stash your to-go coffee in all holiday season.
There are only so many red cups to go around, though. You’ll want to snag your coffee early in order to be sure you’ll get your hands on one before they’re gone. Don’t think about going tomorrow either, because the promo is for No.v. 18 only.
Of the event, Brady Brewer, chief marketing officer for Starbucks said in a press release that the brand is excited to bring back the tradition for its loyal customers. According to Brewer not only is it a way to continue the kick-off of the holiday season, but it helps more Starbucks toward “reducing single-use cup waste as we work towards our planet-positive goals.”
