Not all of us can be savvy gift wrappers—particularly when it comes to oddly shaped presents. Thankfully, though, there’s a hack for it.
Content creator Lindsay Buck has a hack for wrapping unusually shaped gifts, and it’s basically genius.
In the video, Buck attempts to wrap a moose stuffed animal to no avail. Then, she moves into her trick. To do so, she folds a sheet of wrapping paper into thirds and tapes them in place. Fold up the bottom and separate the two sections flattening them to form a diamond. Next, fold the top and bottom corners of the diamond toward the middle and tape. Slip your item into the open top of the bag and fold it shut taping it in place. Finally, hole punch two holes into the top, string a ribbon through, and you’ve got a perfectly wrapped gift.

The next time you’ve got an awkward gift to wrap, this is the hack to use. It’s not the only clever wrapping paper hack on TikTok, though. Back in November, a wrapping paper storage hack went viral that’ll ensure you don’t have rolls sliding all around your closet.
