If you’re hosting a holiday party this year, you’ve likely got your guests’ RSVPs and menu planned, but for those still looking for a few finishing touches, one simple craft is an adorable game changer for your food spread.

Thanks to a video of holiday entertaining hacks from Buzzfeed’s As/Is, you can now make a card display using only candy canes and tape.

Brach's 12 Peppermint Candy Canes

Grab some candy canes and get to crafting.

In the video, a person groups three full-sized candy canes together with their bends facing upward and equidistance apart. Then, they use clear tape and secure them together. Because of the bends, the canes sit upright. As the last step, a card labeling a pitcher as a festive sparkling punch is slipped into the bends forming the perfect cardholder. Whether you use this craft as a way to label food or as a nameplate, it’s adorable and easy aka the perfect combination.
