Taco Bell might have taken the Mexican Pizza off its menu, but it’s giving fans a new treat in the new year. It’s different than any of their other menu items.
Taco Bell is launching Crispy Chicken Wings on Jan. 6, 2022, and they look delicious.
The famous taco purveyor will sell the new menu item for just $5.99, and you’ll get five bone-in wings with a Mexican Queso seasoning blend served with a spicy ranch sauce. You’ll want to hop on this launch as soon as possible, too. The wings are a limited edition launch—a very limited edition launch. They’re only available from Jan. 6-Jan. 13 and only after 2 p.m. local time. Basically, you’ve got a week to experience wings from Taco Bell.
This isn’t Taco Bell’s first foray into unexpected chicken-based menu items, though. For a limited time in 2021, the brand launched the Chicken Sandwich Taco. The move placed the chain squarely in the great Chicken Sandwich Wars of 2021 and featured fried chicken breast marinated in jalapeno buttermilk and seasoned with Mexican spices served in puffy bread with chipotle sauce. While yes, they’re gone now, the new wings are coming to satisfy your fried chicken needs.
When you’re craving wings in the new year, Taco Bell might be the place to go. Once the menu item is gone, though, you can always use this clever oven hack to bake your own wings.
