How to Make Starbucks’ Cinnamon Dolce Syrup at Home

A person makes a copycat coffee syrup.

If you (like me) are a sucker for a Starbucks product, you know buying them can get costly quickly. Thanks to a TikTok, though, you might be able to DIY one of the brand’s famous syrups at home.

Content creator @StationColdBrew showcased how you can make Starbucks’ cinnamon dolce syrup at home and stop buying the costly (but delicious) creamer from your grocery store.

According to the TikTok creator, you’ll add white sugar, brown sugar, water, vanilla extract, and cinnamon to a pot. Simmer the ingredients on low until the sugar has melted and you’ve got a watery consistency. Then, pour the liquid into a glass jar with an airtight lid. Let it cool, and it’ll have a syrup-like consistency.

Regular-Mouth Glass Mason Jars

These mason jars are perfect for storing your syrup.

Once you’re ready for coffee, add a tablespoon into your mug. The syrup should last markedly longer than the creamer saving you a bit of chance on your next trip to the grocery store.

Not into cinnamon dolce? Don’t worry. While this is one of the latest flavors to go viral, it’s far from the only copycat recipe on the internet. You can make everything from pumpkin spice to toffee nut.

Want just a simple, perfect cup of coffee? We’ve got you covered there, too.
