Your furbaby is like family, so if you’re in the market to move, should you take them into consideration? If the answer is yes, you might want to look at a few specific cities.

MyBaggage, an international luggage shipping site, ranked the top cities for pets in the United States, and for fido, you might want to consider one.

The site used a few different indicators to determine which cities were the most pet friendly including the number of vets, pet stores, pet-friendly restaurants, average costs of dog ownership, and the number of pet-friend hotels. After pulling all of this information together, MyBaggage declared Los Angeles the top city in the United States for your furry friend.

According to the site’s findings, the city has nearly 200 vets, 240 pet stores, and is incredibly dog-friendly thanks to dog parks, dog-friendly beaches, and walkable spaces. As for the second place, New York City gets the honors thanks to its plethora of dog-friendly cafes, restaurants, and bars that are dog-friendly. After all, don’t you want to take your dog everywhere?

If you were considering a move this year but want to be sure your furbaby will be happy as well, you can find all of MyBaggage’s results here, and when you need packing tips, we’ve got you covered.
