Milk crates are sturdy, just big enough to store a variety of things without being too bulky, and can be used just about anywhere. Here’s how to use them from your closet to your car’s trunk.

Sure, you can buy any old container to organize your stuff, but you really can’t beat the sturdy, stout design of plastic and wooden milk crates. You can stack them directly atop each other, flip them on their side to make shelves, fill them with toys, paint supplies, or whatever it is you need swept up and tucked away.
