Bring some spring into your space thanks to Trader Joe’s. The famed grocery store is featuring a must-have plant, and it might just bring you some luck.

Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, you can shop a shamrock plant at your local Trader Joe’s.

According to Trader Joe’s fan account Trader Joe’s Geek, the stores are selling shamrock plants (also known as oxalis). The plants are retailing for just $4.99, and you can pick one up just in time to celebrate St. Paddy’s. You will, however, need to head into your local store to see if they’re being sold. Unfortunately, there’s no way to look online to check store inventory, but hey, who minds an extra Trader Joe’s run during the week, right?

If you’re not familiar, the plant is considered good luck thanks to none other than St. Patrick himself. The saint brought Christianity to Ireland, and when he did, he plucked a shamrock and used the leaves to illustrate the Holy Trinity. While these clovers usually have three leaves, it’s when you get four leaves that you’ll get that dose of luck.

If you want to bring some springtime magic into your home, Trader Joe’s shamrock plants might be the way to go, and on the big day, try one of these fun Irish recipes.
