It’s hard to beat multifunctional cleaning products. From magic erasers to the cleaning power of vinegar, there are supplies that can basically do it all. You might be surprised to find that your mop is one of them.
You can use your mop to clean windows, and it’s a surprisingly effective hack. Essentially, you just use your mop to reach and clean the highest portions of your windows instead of grabbing a ladder or step stool. Not only is it safer, but it also requires far less elbow grease.
To use this hack, you’ll need a sponge-based mop on an adjustable pole. You’ll soak the sponge in soapy water, wring it out, and clean the windows. Then, using a dry mop, microfiber mop, or squeegee add to the end of the adjustable pole, and dry the water. This will help prevent water spots. That’s it. You’ve got clean windows.
If you’ve been putting off cleaning your windows during your annual spring cleaning, you might want to consider breaking out the mop. It could be the solution to all that hard work.
