Painting a brick house is a pretty serious undertaking because the cost, in both labor and time, to return it to the original brick look is pretty high if you end up hating the results. If you’re considering the process, check out this lovely transformation.

The makeover John and Sherry performed over at Young House Love completely overhauled the look of their home (for the better!). They also documented the process not just with a pile of photos, but helpful advice about how to do it properly so your brickwork is not worse off when you’re done.

As tempted as we are to post the before photo here, we’d prefer you have the same “oh wow” experience we had looking at the finished product first and then the before pictures. So hit up their recent update post here to look at how the project is coming along (before photos included) and then read up on the start of the project for more brick house makeover tips.
