This Affordable Cuisinart Knife Set Is One of My Favorite Amazon Purchases

Not all of us can go out and spend a boat load of money on forever knives. You know, the super high-end ones that are all shiny and fancy? And that’s just fine because one of my favorite Amazon purchases is a set of affordable Cuisinart knives.

While you might think Cuisinart knives will be expensive, this set is under $40, and if knives can be adorable, they are.

Cuisinart 12-Piece Ceramic Coated Stainless Steel Knives

Slice and dice until your heart's content.

The set comes with six different knives with matching covers: chef, slicing, serrated, santoku, utility, and pairing. Essentially, they’re all of the must-haves for a home kitchen. Each one comes with a safety guard, so you can be sure the blades are kept sharp and no one will accidentally reach into a drawer and cut themself.

Each blade is made from stainless steel, so they’re incredibly durable, and there’s a non-stick coating on top of the blade to make slicing your food much easier. Plus, it helps ensure that the blades stay sharper longer (though you will need to purchase a separate knife sharpener as this set doesn’t come with one).

Finally, there’s my absolute favorite quality of the knives: the color. I know. I know. It’s a silly quality to look for in a knife, but seeing the array of primary colors in my kitchen simply makes me happy. Doesn’t that count for something? But the colors do serve a purpose. If you’re using multiple knives at a time, you can keep track of the shades and avoid cross-contamination as you prep your food.

If you’re in the market for a new set of kitchen knives but don’t want to break the bank, this Cuisinart set is a winner.
