I Bought This Water Bottle for Under $25 and Have Never Been More Hydrated

A woman is propped up on a stair railing holding a water bottle, a water bottle is held aloft and filled with water and lemon, and a woman holds up a water bottle.
Venture Pal

If you’re like me, drinking enough water to meet your hydration goals can be a chore. Quite frankly, I just don’t love water. But one purchase has helped.

Venture Pals’ gallon water bottle has me drinking more water than ever, and I never thought I’d be the woman carrying around here water. But here I am.

The key element to Venture Pal’s water bottle is the timed motivations along the side. The bottle is designed so that water will be drunk over an eight-hour period, beginning at 7 a.m. The timeline then moves in two-hour increments with different slogans like “Keep Chugging” and “Don’t Give Up” every two hours.

Yes, those slogans are helpful, but what really works to keep me drinking is breaking down my goal intake by hours. If you follow the bottle’s timeline, you’ll be drinking roughly 16 ounces every two hours. It takes that gallon goal and breaks it down into easier chunks throughout the day. Drinking a gallon of water is far less intimidating.

Outside of the time recommendations and motivations, though, the bottle is available in multiple ombre colorways as well as solid color options. A large straw is included and protected under a flip top. There’s an easy-carry handle at the top, and it’s leak-proof and BPA free.

If you’ve been looking for a way to increase your water intake, this water bottle might be the way. It was for me. Plus, don’t forget that you can also get hydration from delicious foods!
