Thin Mint Lovers, The New Girl Scout Cookie Is for You

Two girls share a cookie at a park.
Girl Scouts of the USA

Unfortunately, it’s not quite Girl Scout cookie season yet, but the organization does have some early good news for lovers of Thin Mints. There’s a new cookie on the way, and it’s inspired by the classic.

The Girl Scouts is launching a new Raspberry Rally cookie for the upcoming season, and you can think of it as a fruity take on the Thin Mint.

Much like the fan favorite cookie, the Raspberry Rally features a thin, crunchy cookie with a raspberry flavor (instead of mint) and coated in the same dark chocolate covering. It’s being referred to as a “sister” cookie to the OG minty treat.

The cookie will launch in Jan. 2023 when cookie season starts, and it has a special purpose for the Girl Scouts. The dessert will be sold exclusively online for the season and will help teach troops about e-commerce alongside entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and community-building.

If you want to purchase the Raspberry Rally cookies when they debut, you can head over to the Girl Scout website and sign up to be notified as soon as your local troop starts selling.

In the meantime, though, you can make your own cookies.
