Here’s a Better Way to Organize Your Leftover Containers

Plastic storage containers are an excellent storage solution for your weekday leftovers. But figuring out where to keep them in the kitchen can be a hassle. Before you know it, your entire space is overflowing with containers.

The best way to organize your storage container is to store the lids and bowls separately.

Keeping the containers and lids separate helps create more space in your kitchen. If you don’t, you’ll end up with towers of containers with bases stacked on top of lids. Instead, separate the two so that you can slip the bases into one another reducing the height of your stack and freeing up vertical space in cabinets. Then, stack your lids or place them on their sides in a row.

Of course, it’s helpful to have containers of a similar size and shape so they’ll stack nicely. We recommend snagging matching sets of airtight containers for the most organized space possible.

Keep your lids neat and organized with a kitchen organizer.

You can also store lids in an organizer to make them easier to find. If you’re keeping your lids in a drawer, you can add a peg board and dowels to create an organized frame. If you have more room in a cabinet, a magazine holder is a great organizational tool for your Tupperware lids.

Your kitchen doesn’t have to be cluttered. Knowing how to store your plastic containers is just one step to simplifying the room.

It all comes down to staying organized in the kitchen to create a stress-free and comfortable space.
