Four Starbucks cups feature red and green holiday patterns.

Halloween is over, and for many, it’s time to move into the holiday season. Starbucks is helping because the famous holiday cups are making an early return.

The Starbucks holiday cups return on Nov. 3, and there are four new festive designs headed coffee lovers’ way.

Starbucks’ famous holiday cups debuted 25 years ago when designer Sandy Nelson created the first set, a collection of magenta, sapphire, emerald, and purple designs. Since then, the cups have continued to evolve eventually adopting a signature red shade that often now has people asking when Starbucks “red cups” return. Well, the answer is now.

Starbucks Medium Roast & Flavored Ground Coffee

Bring your Starbucks holiday coffee home.

This year, there are four designs:

  • Gift Wrapped Magic: A blend of green and red wavy ribbons accented with white stars and the Starbucks logo.
  • Frosted Sparkle: A snowy mint green backdrop is accented with bright red retro stars.
  • Ornament Wonder: A white background is covered in a red and green micro pattern of Christmas trees, stars, and snowflakes.
  • Cozy Evergreen: The classic red cup gets an update with large white evergreen trees and the green Starbucks logo.

Now that you know the holiday cups are back, what about the drinks? This year, Starbucks is bringing back all of your favorites. When it comes to hot specialty options, you can opt for Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulee Latte, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, or Chestnut Praline Latte. Those who prefer iced coffee can get the Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte (a popular option from last year) or an Irish Cream Cold Brew.

If you’re already feeling the holiday spirit, Starbucks’ holiday red cups are just one more way to celebrate.
