From creamy potatoes to crispy stuffing, there’s no shortage of memorable Thanksgiving side dishes. So, with the variety of options, what’s America’s favorite side dish for the holiday?
Apparently, stuffing is the most popular Thanksgiving side dish.
Every year, Campbell’s releases an annual survey to discover America’s favorite holiday traditions. Their “State of the Sides” survey reported that 27 states favored stuffing as the best side, while 22 states claimed mashed potatoes as their favorite. Massachusettes was the only state split down the middle for both sides.
According to the report, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, and green bean casserole are also Thanksgiving favorites. The survey also revealed that America preferred sides over the classic Thanksgiving turkey.
