Impressed by the Impossible Burger? Impossible Pork Is Coming

Impossible Food

Impossible Foods has made a name for itself over the last few years with the Impossible Burger, a plant-based burger that tastes, impossibly, like, well, a burger. Today they announced a new product Impossible Pork.

The Impossible Pork, like the Impossible Burger, is gluten-free, and made from plant materials and proteins. The product continues the company’s mission to recreate the meat-based food experience without the ethical and environmental issues that arise from raising livestock animals.

Additionally, and of interest to anyone who would really love to eat things with pork-flavor and texture but unable to because of religious restrictions: Impossible Foods designed the product for kosher and halal certification.

While the product isn’t available on market yet—Impossible Foods is being tight-lipped about when and where it will be for sale or restaurant use—we’d expect it to receive the same strong approval the Impossible Burger has. For those of you who haven’t tried one yet (or don’t have a culinary explorer for a friend who seeks out new and interesting things), the Impossible Burger is a surprisingly good approximation of a burger that has passed muster with thousand of diners across America.
