In case you haven’t heard the devastating news, Bed, Bath, & Beyond has officially filed for bankruptcy, and stores around the country will be shutting down. But if you happen to still have a gift card to the store, how long do you have to use it?
You need to spend your Bed, Bath, & Beyond gift card by May 8 to ensure it doesn’t go to waste.
As part of its bankruptcy, the retailer is offering final liquidation sales beginning Wednesday, April 26. That’s also the same day that the retailer’s famous coupons end. As of today, those 20% off coupons are no good—but thanks to those sales we just mentioned, there’s still plenty of merchandise you can get at a discount.
Speaking of those sales, though, while the expected start date is Wednesday, April 26, there’s no known end date. While that could be a good thing, it could also mean that you need to shop sooner rather than later in case your local store shutters its doors before you’re able to get your must-shop items.
If you’ve always been a Bed, Bath, & Beyond shopper, the coming weeks might be your last time heading into stores. If you’ve got a gift card that needs to be spent, you’ve got until May 8.
