Everyone’s favorite word is free. Okay, so maybe that’s not true. It’s likely more accurate to say that everyone has two favorite words: free food. Right now, you can get free Chick-fil-A nuggets as easily as you can download an app to your phone (and don’t forget the Polynesian sauce).

In January, the chicken sandwich purveyor is being generous to its fans and sending a tasty thank you via its mobile app. In an announcement on its corporate site, Chick-fil-A announced that it will be giving away a free 8-count nugget to customers as a way to say thank you for the past year.

So how do you get those tasty fried chicken bites? The answer is likely already in your hand.

According to the fast-food chain, all chicken lovers need to do is download the Chick-fil-A app to their phone and sign-in or create a Chick-fil-A One account. Once done, you’ll find the option for your 8-count nuggets in your rewards section.

Sure, you can also opt for a kale salad, but c’mon. This is Chick-fil-A. Get those nuggets.

While you can woefully only use your nugget reward once, you do have a few more days left to redeem your tasty thank you if you haven’t already. According to the app, the free Chick-fil-A nugget reward will run all the way until the end of the month on Jan. 31.

Of the deal, Director of Customer Digital Experience Kevin Pucer says, “Our customers are incredibly important to us, and this is one small way to thank them for their loyalty and introduce the perks of our app to new guests. We are excited to surprise our guests with a free eight-count order of nuggets this month through our mobile app.”

If you’ve been jonesing for some nuggets, it’s time to hit the drive-thru. Oh, and it’s my pleasure (to inform you of this deal).
