Start making plans to be glued to Amazon this July. Prime Day is back, and the dates have been announced. Contact your HR department for time off, get a babysitter, and do what needs to be done.
This year, you’ll be able to shop summer’s Amazon Prime Day July 11-12.
While it’s highly unlikely that you’ve never heard of Prime Day, let’s just recap what happens. Things are pretty straightforward. Essentially, the massive online retailer provides discounts on home, tech, beauty, apparel, and lifestyle, and typically, they’re sizable percentages off retail value. According to Amazon, that’s not changing this year.
For example, you’ll save big (up to 55%) on Alexa-enabled devices like the Echo Show 5 and the Echo Pop. Ring bundles are up to 66% off, and you can get up to 43% off select Hisense smart TVs with Amazon Fire TV already built-in. Plus, there are already deals that have gone live as part of an early sales event!
The most important thing to know about Amazon Prime Day, though (other than the date), is that you do have to be a Prime member to shop these sales. However, don’t fret if you don’t have an account. You can head over to Amazon now and sign up. If you’ve never had an account and have never used a free trial before, you’ll get the first 30 days free, and even if you have, Prime is just $14.99 per month.
If you’re in the market for a new TV, have been eyeing a specific kitchen appliance, or can’t resist a deal on some outdoor entertaining must-haves, mark your calendar for Amazon Prime Day July 11-12.
