It might be your little secret or you might bask in your admiration, but you love Taco Bell. Admit it. The chalupas! Those crunchy tacos! The Mexican pizzas! The fast-food Tex-Mex purveyor is beloved by everyone from kids to those of us who have had one too many and needed some junk to soak it up.
Now, it has added a brand new take on a favorite item. Taco Bell’s Buffalo Chicken Nacho Fries are about to land, and these babies look so good. However, you might want to go ahead and grab your Tums ahead of time.
According to a press release on the restaurant’s food website, the new Buffalo Chicken Nacho Fries will be hitting Taco Bell locations on Jan. 30. While yes, the Nacho Fries have been around since 2018, this new take on the old classic makes the return so much more sweet (or um, spicy).
Taco Bell’s new iteration of fries will feature its signature seasoned potatoes (duh), pico de gallo, sour cream, shredded chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, and buffalo sauce. While not every location will have the new heartburn-inducing (but likely worth it) menu item, you can check availability at the chain’s website. As for pricing, you can expect to pay $2.99 for an a la carte order of the new creation.
If you’re already longing to get your hands on the new nacho fries, there’s even better news. The smothered potato-based recipe isn’t the only way to get your fix. According to the restaurant, you can also get a Buffalo Chicken Nacho Fries served as a burrito. Yes! Fries and cheese and chicken and buffalo sauce all wrapped up in a deliciously warm Taco Bell tortilla. It’s sure to be as close to heaven on Earth as you can get. Plus, the price stays the same. The burrito will also ring in under $3.
