Land’s End, a company most people associate with comfy clothing, is hope you soon associate them with comfy and restful sleep.
What does that look like? Kelsey Mulvey of Apartment Therapy discovered the new bedding from the classic American workwear brand, and her review will have you considering taking a trip to the retailer. The sheets in question are the Italian Percale Solid Sheets. The fabric (percale) is a tightly woven cotton commonly seen in sheets that delivers both comfort and durability.
The Land’s End version is a 200-thread count that the brand explains is directly from Italy. The sheets are also tested by OEKO-TEX, an organization that screens for harmful substances within textiles, and the fabric has been declared approved and free from 300 chemicals.
While the details about the sheets found on the Land’s End website are likely enough to get you to snag a pair for yourself, Mulvey’s review will have you grabbing your credit card right now.
Mulvey explains that it was her friends’ experiences with the Land’s End product that made her purchase the sheets (because apparently, the brand is bedding’s best-kept secret). She wasn’t disappointed. She writes:
“Simply put, these sheets remind me of hotel bedding—and in the best way possible. They’re soft but not too soft. They’re crisp but not stiff. But perhaps my favorite thing about these sheets is how cool they are. You see, I sleep really hot. More times than not, I wake up in a sweat. (I know, kinda gross.) While these sheets aren’t single-handedly regulating my sleeping temperature, their 100 percent cotton construction certainly helps.”
If you want to test out the sheets for yourself, they are currently available (and on sale) at the Land’s End website starting at around $95 and come in three different colors in twin, full, queen, and king sizes. Who knows? Land’s End may have also created your new favorite sheet, too.
