Audible Offering Hundreds of Free Stories for Kids Stuck at Home

A mosaic of book covers from the Audible Stories service.
Audible

In response to the widespread school closures, Audible has launched a 100 percent, no-strings-attached platform to get hundreds of books to kids who are stuck at home.

Audible Stories features a wide array of audiobooks, from nursery rhymes for toddlers to more sophisticated offerings for teens.

And the choices aren’t limited to public domain classics, like Alice in Wonderland or Just So Stories, either!

While the classics are well represented, contemporary titles, like The Mystwick School of Musicraft, (see image above) and Astrophysics for Young People in a Hurry are also included.

The no-strings-attached part is our favorite bit. You don’t have to use a credit card to sign up for an extended trial (or even sign up at all). Simply visit the site on your computer, tablet, or phone, click “Start Listening,” and then browse for a book to listen to.

We applaud Audible for making this experience as absolutely hassle-free as possible!
