There are a lot of catchy songs in Disney’s iconic Beauty and the Beast film, but none so catchy as “Belle” the first musical number in the animated classic. To jog your memory, it’s the one where Bella travels to get a new book from the library and, in the process, introduces you to her character and her place in the very provincial town she calls home.
The “Corona Version” is a total parody rewrite of the song, created by Sharon Luxenburg and sung by Miri Zhavi—and it’s amazing. The song features the same catchy tune but with lyrics adapted for the coronavirus outbreak like:
There comes old Bernie and he’s got Corona
So why the heck is he outside?
Walks around as though he’s well
With a sanitizer gel
