Trends aren’t normally associated with houseplants, but gardening (whether in- or outdoor) has become a must-do this summer. ALDI’s fiddle leaf figs are just $8 this week, making them the perfect start to your plant collection.

If you’re unfamiliar with fiddle leaf figs, they’re the tall, broad and bright green-leafed plant you see next to everyone’s couch on Instagram. It’s become a popular option for those looking to expand their houseplant collection. This might be thanks to its low-maintenance, once-a-week watering schedule.

Keep in mind, ALDI isn’t selling the large, normally $75+ plant at a slashed cost—this is a compact version. But that just makes it all the more perfect for beginners.

The $7.99 ALDI Fiddle Fig is available now through June 16.
