Tina Fey fans are about to be excited. The comedian’s hit sitcom 30 Rock is having a reunion!
Fey and her fellow cast members will be getting together on July 16 to present at NBC Upfronts. The event is a showcase for the network’s upcoming 2020-2021 television lineup. The reunion will be done remotely (as will the upfronts), but it stills marks the first time that the cast has reunited since the series went off the air in 2013. Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski, and Jack McBrayer have all signed up to appear.
Of the anticipated reunion, Fey and co-creator Robert Carlock said, “We’re all happy to have this excuse to (remotely) work together again for NBC…. To quote Kenneth the Page, there are only two things we love in this world, television, and everyone.”
30 Rock joins a long list of series that have had reunions over the past few weeks. Actor Josh Gad has been hosting a multitude of cast reunions for his YouTube series (like his Goonies reunion), and the cast of The Nanny got together for a table read of the first episode. Clearly, 30 Rock is in good company.
