Celebrities are pros at taking selfies, and in a recent snap, one celebrity unveiled a genius closet design without even trying. Carrie Underwood’s closet hack is genius, so it’s no wonder people spotted it on her social media.
In a photo uploaded to her Instagram account, Underwood poses in a two-piece swimsuit from her activewear brand Calia by Carrie and celebrates the beginning of summer. Eagle-eyed followers, however, noticed something else: a washer and dryer installed in her walk-in closet. Yes, sure, we can’t all afford a wood-floored walk-in closet that looks like it’s the size of a New York City apartment, but for those dreaming about a future home, it’s not a bad idea to pin to a Pinterest inspiration board.
Even if fans of Underwood don’t have that swanky closet, there’s an idea that can be taken from her setup. Whether it’s setting up a washer and dryer in an existing master bathroom or simply connecting the units to a bedroom or on the floor of the home you live (if you live in a multi-story home), having them readily accessible likely means dirty clothes go in where you take them off and come out where you hang them. Who wouldn’t love that?
And hey, even if it isn’t in the cards for you in the immediate future, it’s definitely a cool idea to squirrel away for later.
