Each year classic chip brand Lay’s announces a wild assortment of new flavors. 2020 is no different, and this year, Lay’s is taking a restaurant theme.
For its latest flavor launch, Lay’s teamed up with five iconic restaurants from coast to coast to create chips inspired by famous restaurants. Altogether, there are five new flavors: Nashville Hot Chicken, New York Style Pizza, Philly Cheesesteak, Carnitas Street Taco, and Chile Relleno. All of the flavors will be available in grocery stores beginning July 13, but the Chile Relleno flavor will be exclusive to Wal-Mart and 7-11 and are limited in supply.
While Lay’s may not have hosted it’s iconic Do Us A Flavor competition this year, the brand is clearly not taking breaks. Plus, it had already dropped three additional flavors at the beginning of the year: Cheddar Jalapeno, Flamin’ Hot, and Sea Salt & Vinegar. If those seem more your speed, they’re available in stores now. If, however, you’re feeling adventurous, the new restaurant-inspired Lay’s maybe for you.
