If you’re looking for a little inspiration to mix up your breakfast routine into something, well, a more varied and less all-American, this video is a great place to start.

Johnny Harris released a video last month called “Why Americans Eat Dessert for Breakfast” (’cause let’s be honest here, pancakes and actual cakes have a lot in common) and, naturally, people commented on the video asking what he was eating for breakfast if he wasn’t eating traditional American fare.

The followup video is a fun trip through different breakfasts from around the globe Harris has been experimenting with during his break from flapjacks and scrambled eggs.

Frankly, we’re sold on the whole concept and would love to watch an entire series devoted to breakfasts from every region all around the globe. Around the World in 80 Breakfasts is a Netflix Original we’d absolutely binge watch.
