When a turtle slips off the bank of a pond and vanishes into the water, it seems downright tranquil. It’s just peacefully hanging out down there, right? Well, as it turns out, life beneath the surface is like an action movie!
In the video below Kyle Naegeli, aka The Fish Whisperer, strapped a GoPro to his stout little buddy, Tank, a red-eared slider turtle. Tank seems entirely unphased by his new BattleBot look, and promptly sets off in search of adventure in Kyle’s pond.
While we expected to see some fish and a fair amount of seaweed and muck, we definitely didn’t expect a tour that felt like the dramatic start of a nature documentary.
