When it comes to family-friendly foods, nachos rank high on the list. Turns out, though, we’ve been eating nachos all wrong. Nacho tables are the latest TikTok food craze, and you’ll never eat this meal the same way again.
TikTok user @stefherder turned nacho night in the Tex-Mex equivalent of a low country boil, and it has the internet losing its mind. In her video, Stephanie and her family line a table with aluminum foil before dumping a massive bag of tortilla chips right on top. Next, the family arranges various nacho toppings — like tomatoes, jalapenos, lettuce, and salsa — in the center of the table before dumping ground beef and nacho cheese over everything. Once done, the family chooses their position on the table and creates their very own custom nachos using the toppings in the center. There are no plates required, and once you’re done, just roll everything up in the aluminum foil and toss it.
@stefherderThank you for over 3 million views on TikTok and over 25 million on FB 🤯 ##nachotable ##nachotablenight ##HurtMyFeelings ##food ##fyp ##foryou
The video has over 3 million views on TikTok and 25 million Facebook viewings. One look at the hashtag #nachotable on Instagram, and you can see the effects of this viral food. Several other families and friends have recreated the nacho table on their own and posted the results to social media.
The next time you need to entertain a large group, you may want to consider TikTok’s nacho table.
