People are cooking at home more at the moment, and that’s led restaurants and theme parks to reveal some of their most well-known recipes. The latest addition is Disney’s mac & cheese.
The release comes in honor of the annual Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. The yearly event sees vendors from all over the world creating food and beverages inspired by the vast array of cultures represented inside the EPCOT park. One of these areas features a macaroni and cheese showcase, and now, thanks to the Disney Parks blog, you can make one of the recipes at home.
This particular mac & cheese uses the showcases’ sponsor Borsin for a garlic-based approach to the pasta dish. It requires the Boursin Garlic & Herbs cheese, yellow cheddar, and white cheddar alongside cavatappi pasta. The dish does involve making a roux—a mix of flour and fat (in this case butter) used to thicken sauces—but the process is fairly simple.
If you want to make your own Disney-approved macaroni and cheese, you can check out the full recipe and instructions on the Disney Parks blog. And if you want even more cheesy Disney goodness, be sure to check out their grill cheese sandwich recipe here.
