Thinking about a new coat of paint for your house, but unsure where to turn? Well, Joanna Gaines has some ideas for you.

The star of HGTV’s Fixer Upper, creator of Magnolia, and soon-to-be network-owner, has also teamed up with paint brand Kilz. Just when it seemed the entrepreneur and designer couldn’t possibly add any more to her plate, she’s now bringing fall kitchen color suggestions to homeowners.

Gaines just launched her latest collection of paint with Kilz, and the shades include those she recommends for fall-themed kitchens.

“The kitchen is the heartbeat of home, which makes it one of my favorite spaces to design,” Gaines said. “It’s been so inspiring to watch families gravitate towards their kitchens, again and again, this year, maybe more than ever before.”

Gaines and Kristen Bufton, Magnolia’s senior designer, outlined the best options. One might be particularly shocking. For the most part, the shades are neutral and cool, but a bold blue is the one exception.

“More dramatic color combinations like this tend to lean more eclectic and modern in style and are a great way to embody a moody vibe in your kitchen,” Bufton said.

If you’re looking to try something different, Gaines’ blue suggestion might just be it! Head over to PureWow to read all about it.
