Some people watch It’s A Wonderful Life, and others opt for a comedy like Elf. For some, though, there’s nothing like a Hallmark Christmas movie to really get into the holiday spirit—and for those folks, Christmas is coming early this year.
In what may be the best surprise of 2020 (and let’s be honest, there haven’t been many), Hallmark’s Christmas movies will start in October—before Halloween. Yes, you read that correctly.
The network will be hosting the Countdown to Christmas beginning Oct. 24 with its first new film, Jingle Bell Bride. Then, every weekend leading up to the holiday, Hallmark will debut one or two more new feature-length films on either its main channel or its Movies & Mysteries channel. Between the two, there will be a whopping 40 new films to catch between Oct. 24 and Christmas Day.
If you’ve already started planning your Christmas decor or were looking for the bright spot in 2020, go ahead and plan your watch schedule, your holiday snacks, and grab those cozy pajamas for Hallmark’s Christmas movies.
