Sure, it’s spooky season, and there’s plenty of candy on store shelves, but if you’ve eaten through that entire bag of minis, you might still be able to make a sweet treat. There’s a Reese’s cup TikTok hack floating around that requires three ingredients, a mug, and microwave—that’s it.

TikTok user @bakingenvy gave fans the secret to creating a DIY Reese’s cup, and it’s much easier than you may think. To create the faux version of the candy, you’ll add two tablespoons of peanut butter to a mug and heat for 15 seconds. Next, mix in one tablespoon of powdered sugar. Mix it all together and flatten it out (like the top of a Reese’s). Next, add two spoonfuls of chocolate chips over top. Heat in the microwave for a minute and 30 seconds. Remove and spread the chocolate. Finally, place the mug in the freezer for 15 minutes for the chocolate to solidify. And boom! Reese’s cup.

This isn’t the first time that a dessert recipe has gone viral on the video-sharing platform. Over the summer, Oreo mug cakes dominated the viral space. All people needed to do was add Oreos and milk to mug and heat in the microwave for instant cake. Not too bad, right?

The next time you’re looking for an easy dessert recipe? You might be best served by heading to TikTok.
