October is here which means you can unapologetically embrace all of the Halloween-themed things you want. One of them should be Krispy Kreme’s Halloween doughnuts that may just be some of the cutest fall-themed foods available.

To celebrate the spooky holiday, Krispy Kreme has launched a lineup of spooky-themed doughnuts based on famous monsters. There’s the Frank, a creme-filled treat dipped in green icing and decorated at Frankenstein’s famous monster; the Drake, a raspberry-filled doughnut topped with gray icing designed to resemble Dracula; and finally, the Wolfie, an original glazed dipped in chocolate with cinnamon sugar ears. All three of the doughnuts launched Oct. 5, and they’re available now at local stores.

Plus, in honor of the season, the brand is offering its Sweet or Treat Saturdays where you can snag a dozen doughnuts for just $1 after your purchase of another dozen. Each dozen is individually wrapped for gifting and comes with a jack o’ lantern-themed treat.

Two dozen doughnuts — one with various monster designs the other a collection of plain glazed — sit in Krispy Kreme containers.

Of the new designs, Dave Skena, chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme says in a press release, “This Halloween, we’re trading scary for sweet and helping fans create new ways to safely enjoy the season. Instead of asking for sweet treats, let’s give them away to all the neighbors, family, and friends we appreciate so much. It’s not a normal Halloween, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make it a sweet one.”

If you want to snag your own monster-inspired doughnuts, they’re available now, and if you want your $1 dozen, head to the doughnuts purveyor on a Saturday before Halloween.
