Those who have participated in Chipotle’s Boorito event in the past may have been wondering what 2020 would bring. Well, good news! You can still get in on the famous buy one, get one burrito deal this year.
Chipotle’s bogo Boorito event typically sees people lining up at physical stores in costume to get two meals for the price of one. Given the need for physical distance and less crowding due to coronavirus, the event will look different this year, but it’s still happening thanks to social media. Chipotle will give away 500,000 bogo deals on its social media feeds using keywords. To participate, you’ll need to follow its TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter accounts beginning Oct. 29 through Oct 31. Keywords will be posted on the accounts. Once you’ve got the word, text it to 888–222 ASAP, and the first 500,000 people will score the deal.
If, however, you miss one the keywords. Don’t be too worried. Over the last few weeks, Chipotle has been kind enough to share a multitude of its original recipes including how it creates its tortilla chips, corn salsa, and most importantly, its guacamole recipe.
Even if you’re not one of the lucky 500,000, you can still have your own guac.
