Move over, Chip and Joanne Gaines (except don’t because you’re great). HGTV has 16 new shows coming to its network in 2020.
The home and garden-based network is debuting a massive number of new series in the coming year, and they run the gamut from real estate, landscaping, and interior design. Some of the options include Save This House, a series featuring a history buff, carpenter, and designer who team up to save historic homes; 40-Year-Old Property Virgin, which is about helping adult children still living with their parents find homes; and Inside Out, which will pair up an interior designer and a landscape artist to make a home beautiful on the inside and outside.
In a press release, Jane Latman, president of HGTV says of the new programming and the networks’ search for new ideas, “We’ve locked in a solid lineup of creative, innovative, and entertaining programming to inspire people who want to reimagine their homes. This is just the beginning. We’re taking scores of pitch meetings, reviewing hundreds of concept reels, talent sizzles and social media sites—looking for imaginative real estate, renovation and design experts who are pushing the envelope with their distinct points of view.”
