You’ve tried Chick-fil-A. You’ve had Popeye’s. Now, it’s time to get a new chicken sandwich at Wendy’s—and for free.
The popular burger chain has revamped its classic chicken sandwich. The new option comes with a fried chicken breast, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and pickles on a bun. Sounds fairly basic, right? But sometimes you just want a classic, and until Nov. 8, you can get one for free.
All you have to do is use Wendy’s mobile app to place an order. When you do, you qualify for a free sandwich an additional purchase. You can also redeem the offer by showing a QR code found in the app when you head to the restaurant.

Wendy’s isn’t the first brand to give away free food via its app, though. Others, like Popeye’s and Chick-fil-A, often host giveaways for sandwiches or side items, and this isn’t even Wendy’s first go either. The next time you’re jonesing for some fast food and looking for a deal, downloading a chain’s app may be the way to go.
