Beef Wellington, who? Trader Joe’s turkey wellington is where it’s at this Thanksgiving.
Okay, Trader Joe’s isn’t officially selling a turkey wellington, but the grocery store is getting pretty close to it. As part of its recent autumn and Thanksgiving drop of products, the brand introduced a Turkey & Stuffing En Croute, which roughly translates to turkey and stuffing baked in pastry: Hence, the beef wellington comparison.
This version takes turkey tenderloin coats it in a sweetbread stuffing and then wraps it in pastry coated in herbes de Provence. Bonus: You also get cranberry sauce and gravy in the package. To bake, it’s as easy as thawing for 24 hours in the fridge the baking for an hour. Boom! Thanksgiving feast achieved.
If the turkey version of this Thanksgiving beef wellington sounds delicious, you can pick one up at your local Trader Joe’s for just $12.99 this holiday season.
