Most people love the holidays, but getting the holidays into your home can wind up being stressful. Between figuring out how to transport a tree and untangling lights, there’s a lot of prep work. This year, though, Walmart’s tree delivery and light hanging service are making the holiday season a bit easier.
The big-box retailer is helping customers stay safely at home this holiday and taking the hassle out of decorating. Right now, you can head to the Walmart website and pick from their live tree options (including both potted and fresh cut). Add your perfect tree to your cart, and you’ll be able to add free delivery to your home as an option.
But Walmart isn’t just the latest tree delivery service (Lowe’s is doing the same), the retailer will also string your lights for you. This one, however, will cost you. For those with single-story homes, it’ll cost $129 for someone to come put your lights up on your house for you, and if you’ve got a two-story, it’ll be $199. Yes, they will take them down—just for another fee. It’s $99 for a single-story removal and $159 for a two-story removal. But hey, you won’t have to get on a ladder this holiday season, so it may very well be worth it.
For those planning their decorations now, Walmart’s Christmas services may be worth the investment.
