By this point, you’ve probably seen the pool-noodle lollipops and balloon ornaments. But there’s one more holiday décor item you have to check out: tulle Christmas trees!
While they might not be the tree for everyone, they’re still some of the prettiest, most perfectly pink, feminine pieces of décor to appear holiday season.
To create the trees, strips of tulle are combined until they’re nearly opaque. They’re then turned into the layers of a tree and steadily built out in volume until the tulle reaches the base.
If you don’t want to make your own, The Apollo Box will do it for you! You can purchase the three-foot version on the company’s website for about $100. They come in nine different colors.
However, if you’re more adventurous and looking to add another holiday craft to your list, there’s a DIY video below (and, of course, it’s by Hallmark!).
This version of the tree is quite a bit smaller, but all you need is some tulle, a wooden plaque, and a dowel. You glue the dowel upright to the plaque, cut your strips of tulle, and then start tying them around the dowel until it’s as full as you want it. Then, just trim your tree with scissors to your desired shape.
For those on the hunt for one final bit of Christmas décor or a new craft to try, these adorable tulle trees might fit the bill.
