Gingerbread lovers are about to have another way to snack on the spicy sweet. Krispy Kreme gingerbread doughnuts are back, but you’ll need to act fast to snag them.
Starting on Dec. 16, Krispy Kreme welcomed back two seasonal doughnuts: the Gingerbread Glazed Doughnut and the Gingerbread Glazed Original Filled Cheesecake Doughnut. The first is a spiced gingerbread doughnut with hints of cinnamon and a warm molasses glaze. The second is maybe the most over-the-top holiday offering from the brand. It’s the same glazed gingerbread doughnut, but a cheesecake filling has been added to the center.
If you want to snag your own dozen, though, you’ll need to act fast. They’re at the chain for but a brief holiday moment and will be leaving Dec. 24, Christmas Eve. And in addition to the gingerbread options, you may want to opt for a delicious gift of doughnuts. While you grab your spicy-sweet, you can also get Krispy Kreme’s other holiday offerings (like a Santa’s belly and tree doughnut) in limited edition gift sets of a dozen.
“Everyone on the nice list deserves our delicious, melt-in-your-mouth Gingerbread Glazed Doughnuts,” says Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer of Krispy Kreme in a press release on the matter. “We’re happy to bring back this holiday favorite.”
