Some want to watch Home Alone on repeat during the holidays, but others opt for Hallmark’s now-iconic Christmas films. But with the holidays over, what is there to watch? Good news, fans: Hallmark’s New Year’s movies are coming to fill the Christmas-tree-sized hole in your heart.
To replace its famous Countdown to Christmas movie marathon event, Hallmark is launching New Year, New Movies! While this set isn’t totally themed around New Year’s celebrations, the films revolve around classic Hallmark themes like valuing love over career and unlikely scenarios that throw people together.
The new event will last for the entire month of January and will introduce five brand new movies. It starts New Year’s week on Jan. 2, and new movies will air at 9 a.m. EST every Saturday during the month.
If you missed a few Hallmark Christmas movies or were just dreading their absence from your television screen, don’t worry. The network’s got more coming your way to kick off 2021.
