Cauliflower Rice Is Coming to Chipotle

Chipotle is launching cauliflower rice in stores and online.

If you’ve been planning to revamp your diet a bit this year, a popular burrito chain is trying to help. Cauliflower rice is coming to Chipotle (but it won’t be around forever).

The new cilantro-lime cauliflower rice is now available nationwide at Chipotle, but like the guac, it’ll cost you extra. You’ll have to hand over $2 for the new item, but if you’ve gone low carb, or you just want to eat more veggies this year, it might be worth it.

You can order the rice both at restaurant locations or in the app.

“Chipotle fans have been craving more plant-powered, better-for-you options that align with the latest health trends and emphasize the benefits of real food,” said Chris Brandt, chief marketing officer of Chipotle, in a press release. “That’s why we are thrilled to offer Cauliflower Rice nationally and help our fans achieve their diet or lifestyle goals.”

The brand has also introduced four new diet-specific Lifestyle Bowls to its online menu: a Whole30, Keto, vegetarian, and vegan option. You can order these in the app, as well.

The brand is also offering a deal to celebrate these new menu items! You’ll get free delivery on orders of $10 or more when you order in the app.
