You no longer have to head to your local Starbucks to get your dog a sweet, cold treat. Ben & Jerry’s Doggie Desserts have landed, and you and your pup can now have a joint ice cream night.
You likely already know that dairy and dogs don’t really mix well. That’s why the company has created a sunflower-butter base for its new dog-friendly treats. They’re also available in two different flavors.
Pontch’s Mix is a combination of peanut butter and pretzel, and Rosie’s Batch is a pumpkin and cookie mixture. The tiny containers retail for just $1.49 each, or you can grab a four-pack for $4.49. Be on the lookout for these at your local grocery store or Ben & Jerry’s scoop shop.
According to the brand’s website, the new treats were inspired by the K9-5ers: the dogs that roam the office halls and homes of Ben and Jerry’s employees. Talk about a great office environment!
If you want your dog to feel like an official Ben & Jerry’s K9-5er, these new Doggie Desserts are just the thing.
